News about the Jazz Festival

We are already working with great anticipation on the 43rd edition of the Jazzfestival Saalfelden, which will take place from 17-20 August 2023.

Last weekend, from 27 - 29 January 2023, the sixth "3 Days of Jazz" festival took place in the Saalfelden Leogang region.

From 27 - 29 January 2023, a total of 9 concerts will take place at the Kunsthaus Nexus, the Mining and Gothic Museum Leogang and at the Stöcklalm in Leogang.

Attendance exceeded all expectations

The Jazzfestival Saalfelden invited to press conferences in Salzburg and Munich, where the program of the 42nd festival edition could be presented. 

During the Annual General Meeting of the Friend's Club, the 2022 jazz wines were selected.

You can expect a festival with more than 60 concerts in town, in the woods and meadows, music hikes in the midst of our beautiful mountains and of course some surprises again.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we have to cancel the 3 Days of Jazz 2022 again.

Several thousand listeners attended the total of 63 concerts on various stages in the town, in the forest and on the surrounding mountains at the 41st International Jazzfestival Saalfelden from August 16 to 22. The Saalfelden Jazz Festival receives German Brand Award 2021

Against all odds, we were able to successfully host our Jazz Weekender in August 2020. This year, we are heading towards more “normal” conditions, even though the exact meaning of “normal” remains to be determined. Since we do not know what kind of governmental safety regulations will be in place in the summer, we have yet to decide on the exact set-up of the festival, specifically our sitting and standing room capacities at different venues. That is why ticket sales still remain on hold.

With a heavy heart we decided to cancel the small winter festival this year.
