The Saalfelden International Jazz Festival presents the 2017 jazz wines

The Saalfelden International Jazz Festival's recipe for success is not just contemporary jazz and experimental musicians. One of the annual highlights is also the two particularly good wines from Austrian cellars, which have been carefully selected for ten years now.

It is well known that wine enjoyment has to be learned - which is why the members of the "Club of Friends of the Saalfelden Jazz Festival" take on the honourable task of selecting the right wines every year. At this year's annual general meeting on 9 May 2017 at the well-known sommelier Georg Fürstauer from "Weinkistl", the passionate jazz listeners tasted their way through the finest wines Austria has to offer. A total of twelve wines (6 white wines and 6 red wines) were available to choose from, with the 2016 Roter Veltliner and the 2015 Zweigelt - Heideboden winning out over the strong competition.

Every enthusiastic wine connoisseur has the opportunity to become a member and benefit from a variety of advantages, such as ticket discounts, numerous invitations to special events, advance information and much more.
