Jazzwine 2018 - now available!
From now on the jazz wines 2018 can be purchased in the tourism office in Saalfelden or in the „Weinkistl“ in Saalfelden!
The recipe for success of the International Jazz Festival Saalfelden not only includes contemporary jazz and experimental musicians who are at a high artistic level. One of the most beautiful highlights are they two good wines from austrian cellars, which meticulously met for about 13 years.
The benefits of wines wants to be well-known - that's why every year the members of the club "Friends of Jazzfestival Saalfelden" take care of the honorable task of selecting the right wines. This year's annual general meeting on may 30th took place at the Ritzenhof Hotel & Spa am See. The passionate jazz listeners tasted the finest drops of the famous sommelier Georg Fürstauer from the "Weinkistl". A total of eleven wines (five white wines and six red wines) were to choose from. The 2017 Weissburgunder Classic and 2016 Nehro Cuvèe could prevail against the strong competition.
The 2017 weißburgunder classic from the winery Christian Zweytik in Ehrenhausen-Unterlupitscheni from southern Styria and the 2016 Nehro Cuvée from the winery Hans Nehrer in St. Georgen in Eisenstadt are available for € 9,00 each.
