The new duo of cellist Asja Valcic and bassist Raphael Preuschl is dedicated to exploring the sound of the low strings in all their facets. It’s not just groove and rhythm that play a role here, but also beautiful elegiac melodies and imaginative improvisations. Velvet, the title of their upcoming album, consists of a series of compositions for cello and bass ukulele, in which Valcic and Preuschl delve into and reinvent the warm tonal possibilities of their instruments. Sometimes delicate and intimate, sometimes passionate and virtuosic, the result is as velvety as the title suggests.

Experience the concerts in Leogang by public transport! The bus (Line 690) departs from Saalfelden Postplatz at 9:15 am and arrives at Leogang Hütten at 9:34 am. At 10 am, visitors have the opportunity to take part in a free guided tour of the Leogang Mining and Gothic Museum. Please note that there is a charge for the bus ride. The return journey is also possible by public bus at 15:54.
The Gasthof Hüttwirt next door will also be open on this day, where you can enjoy refreshments between the concerts and also meet up with the artists and performers for a final drink afterwards.
