Jazzfestival Saalfelden chooses winner of the 2024 shop window competition

A total of 22 businesses from Saalfelden took part in the creative competition and decorated their shop windows with exceptional dedication and attention to detail. The participating businesses gave free rein to their creativity and presented impressive compositions in their shop windows that reflected the special atmosphere of the jazz festival. The shop windows not only attract the attention of festival visitors and locals, but also enrich the cityscape and provide additional accents during the event.
 
On Monday, 19 August 2024, the jury, consisting of representatives from Saalfelden town marketing and Saalfelden Leogang Touristik, met to select the winners of the competition. After detailed deliberation and evaluation of all participating shop windows, the winner of this year's competition was announced:
 
The winner of this year's shop window competition was ‘anNÄHliese’ - a paradise for sewing enthusiasts in Saalfelden. The shop window impressed with its self-sewn clothing printed according to the motto ‘Jazz Festival’.
2nd place went to ‘The Baby Shop’. Musical soft toys and jazzy decorations adorn the shop.
Third place went to ‘Feinkost Finstermann’. The decoration took up the design of this year's theme and the display case was decorated with pictures and other highlights. 
 
‘It was a pleasure to see how much creativity and dedication the shops put into their shop windows,’ said the jury. ‘The decision was not an easy one, as each shop window is unique in its own way and enriches the festival wonderfully.’
